The gals who brought you Irish Car Bomb and Buttery Nipple booze-infused cupcakes are at it again with two new DC Brau-laced treats. Cruncakes creators Raychel Sabath and Faith Alice Sleeper officially debut their newest creations at a release party from 7-9 p.m. on May 31st at Little Miss Whiskey’s. The first 24 people will get a free full-size Crunkcake, but there will also be free minis for everyone to sample. The Crunkcakes include the “Brau Rickey” with DC Brau Citizen lime cake infused with bourbon-lime buttercream and the “Fat Cat Biggie Smalls,” a DC Brau Penn Quarter Porter chocolate cake infused with bourbon, filled with salted bourbon caramel sauce, and topped with bourbon caramel buttercream. Denver-based distillery Leopold Brothers will also have a rep on hand to lead free tastings of its whiskeys, including some infused with Colorado blackberries, New York apples, and Georgia peaches.
