Highland Highlights: First Feature – TheGoodHairBlog’s Alexandra

I’m starting a new segment called Highlands Highlights (@HighlandsCafeDC) and my inaugural post features @TheGoodHairBlog’s Alexandra.  She came in for breakfast with a friend this weekend and I just really loved her all around style and finally after mentally debating the least awkward and least intrusive way to ask, I requested a picture for my blog.  She informed me that she also blogs and it seemed very fitting that I would meet her in the midst of a battle with my now natural hair!!  Her blog is a great collection of different styles, techniques and products for working with natural hair.  It is a great resource that came at just the right time!!

So now that I am done plugging this awesome blog, what is Highlands Highlights?  Well Highlands Cafe is the awesome cafe I work at on the weekends! They have awesome food and super affordable prizes.  There are not many places around these days were you can get breakfast platters for 2 for around $20!!  Being a young neighborhood spot, we usually get some awesome clientele and I have decided to start highlighting it.  So each weekend I will try to select someone fun who comes in to highlight!! Let the fun begin!
