Introducing the newly redone Chevy Chase Pavilion: Thrill of the Chase!!!
Last Friday I was invited by Carlis one my blogging besties and also part of the amazing duo of ladies that is Spicy Candy DCÂ (they are definitely a dynamic duo!!!) to an event at the newly renovated Chevy Chase Pavilion.
It was the VIP Grand Reopening Party and they went ALL OUT!!
We checked in upstairs first and enjoyed the open view and got our photoshoot on at the step and repeat next to check in!!
Following that we headed downstairs to the lounge that they had built in front of the Starbucks kiosk that was all leather couches, white rose and bubbly, just our style!
After grabbing a glass and surveying the scene, the parade of passed hors d’oeuvre began and I was in foodie heaven!!! (God I love me some Voltaggio brothers, those boys know how to cook!!!). Â Some of my favorites were:

We also had some great music for the night that was really entertaining!!!

I also got a chance to meet the wonderfully talented Chef Bryan Voltaggio shortly before everyone was invited to move upstairs to his restaurant Range.

So just when we thought the night was over and there couldn’t possibly be anymore… we were told to move into the Civil, the new cigar lounge!!
Where we continued to Chase the Thrill with Cigars and another open bar!!
After we were given a tour!!! Â After some downtime and allowing enough digestion that we could move without waddling, we went to retrieve our coats and that’s when we got another favorite time of time… SWAG BAG TIME!!! I will not be too mean and rub it in any further but let’s just say it was one of the best I’ve gotten and for those of you who know me, you know I’ve gotten quite a few…
Winning!!! And to top it all off… we got a box of chocolates, my life is complete!
